Do you know what is in your dust

Air Duct Cleaning

As you may be aware there are several companies that offer the same type of service. However, they often use portable machines (not much more than a shop vacuum) and only use one man to do the job. We use a specially designed vacuum truck with two trained technicians. We run an eight inch hose from our vacuum truck to your furnace, as well as run air lines that are much more powerful than a standard air compressor, down each vent in the customer’s home. We believe that because we are also heating and cooling professionals, we have a better sense of air quality in your home and business.

The Jarrell’s Air Care NW advantage

1. Our truck mounted vacuum system has three (3) almost four (4) times the suction of a small portable vacuum system that some contractors use. Some companies actually use a shop vacuum which is a total joke!

2. Most truck mounted air compressors have their pressure set at 175 psi (pounds per square inch), small portable vacuum systems are usually set at 100-150 psi, our's is set at 240 psi. The contractors that use a shop vacuum have NO compressed air at all! At that rate you'd be just as well off to do it yourself.

3. On residential jobs we usually use an 8" vacuum hose, on
commercial jobs we use an 8" or even a 10" vacuum hose if need be.

4. We have the capability of using up to 250' of suction hose; most cleaning contractors are limited to 100' or even less.

5. For residential jobs we use one (1) to three (3) technicians, as
appropriate for the job, for commercial jobs we use up to five (5)
technicians.

6. We schedule a crew for only two (2) jobs per day so that we can be thorough, as opposed to five (5) to six (6) or more jobs per day as some companies do.

7. As long as the info we are given on the phone is accurate we do NOT add on to the price we give to you on the phone without proving to you that additional services are WARRANTED and YOU have APPROVED the charges BEFORE we perform the work.

8. We do NOT use potentially hazardous chemicals to clean and/or sanitize YOUR air duct and furnace system AS A SALES GIMMICK, only after a though diagnosis would we prescribe such measures and then ONLY AFTER ALL MANDITORY PRECAUTIONS ARE MET to protect our customers and employees.

9. PRESCRIPTION WITHOUT DIAGNOSIS IS MALPRACTICE!

10. We have been in the heating business for over 36 years. Unfortunately a lot of duct cleaners have NO formal heating and cooling education or experience and often only a crash course on air systems cleaning, carpet cleaning or drapery cleaning and/or anything else they think they can make a fast buck on.

11. We have a friendly, trained, experienced and LIVE human body to answer your call for service, verses a multi option phone system that NEVER has the right choice for YOUR need(s).

12. We have a satisfied customer return rate of over 80%, we OFTEN service, repair or replace their heating and cooling equipment for many years after we have cleaned their air duct system and furnace.

13. We have a lot of customers that have used our services
exclusively for 20 to 30 years!

14. WE PRIORITIZE repeat customers, often providing same day service when problems arise.

15. We are your neighbors and we treat you in a manner that we would want to be treated!

The Process:
It all starts with your dirty ducts!

We bring our vacuum truck to your house and run the 8" in diameter hose to your furnace.

Our technicians protect your home by using drop cloths where necessary. In this picture, the hose is being brought through the front door of the house, the hose will be brought to your furnace wherever it is.

Then the technicians will cover each of your registers so that our machine can put your duct work under a vacuum. They will then go to each register (supply) one at a time and run specialized cleaning attachments through the ducts all the way to the furnace. The entire length of each duct is thoroughly cleaned and dust free by the time they're done.

The next step is for the technicians to clean the cold air returns. They use the same process with appropriate attachments for larger size ducts.

In the meantime, at the furnace, our trained technician cleans the unit itself.

We also check your air filtration system. Cleaning them when appropriate and recommending styles and sizes to best serve your needs.

When our technicians are finished we wrap up our tools, and cycle your heating and cooling system.
